I found this company online with a search for a particular Pull I was looking for. I ended up calling to make sure that the item was actually in stock and ready to ship. I have found that more times than not smaller online companies will list items and then make you wait for a back order so I've learned to call first to hopefully avoid an issue. The sales associate I spoke with informed me that several of the pulls would need to be sent directly from their warehouse but they would be dispatched immediately. The SA did take my order over the phone and send me a confirmation email. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the items I ordered and how well they were packaged. I am leaving this review now as I am getting ready to place another order from the same company. My only regret would be not remembering the sales associate name he took my order as he was very helpful and efficient. I would definitely recommend Cape Cod brass & Security Hardware.
The absolutely WORST customer service, so rude, unprofessional and they will charge you outrageous 25% restocking fee for anything returned even if its defective. They simply say it's not defective and charge the fees. Their rep actually said "his opinion is the only one that matters". It is required that restocking fees be reasonable so not to discourage returns and reflective of the "actual costs to restock a product". This company's fees are egregious and solely intended to discourage returns and take your money. Beware because there are many bad reviews for the company which means there are probably hundreds more customers that have bad experiences but don't take the time to write. Wish I would have read these other reviews because would have never dealt with them. At the very least hoping this helps someone avoid being ripped off and shop elsewhere.
