I used Sally Cote to sell my last home and as buyer's agent on my current home. I cannot say enough about her willingness to go the extra mile for us. On the selling side, she advised us very wisely on the market conditions, and we had an offer within days which was either at list price or above. She helped us stage it, and gave us expert guidance on what touch-ups and renovations would net us a higher price and which weren't worth it. We saved thousands by not doing some of the work we would have otherwise done. On the buyer's side, we worked with Sally for over two years to find the house we wanted. I can't even remember how many houses she came to look at with us, probably a dozen, some of them well over an hour away from her Newburyport office. We finally settled on one in Dover. The house was in OK shape, but there were several outstanding issues, and she worked with us to negotiate with the sellers based on those issues. We eventually got them down $15K off their list price with her help. Sally kept us informed during the whole process, answered all of our questions and was there for us every step of the way, and always injected her particular brand of calm into an otherwise stressful process.
