Marble and Granite, Inc.

We had our ColorQuartz kitchen counter installed about two years ago and Marble and Granite was the supplier. Right after it was installed, we noticed that it showed every fingerprint! Since it was now just my husband and I, we were very disappointed in this product and Marble and Granite sent a representative to our home to attempt to address the problem. Jonathan was very responsive and attempted to show us different ways to clean our countertop. I should mention that the color is a lovely deep brown and Jonathan told us that the darker the color quartz, the more it would show prints etc. Two years later and one of us clean our counter top at least three times a day, NOT including after meals. Of course, we assume that we need to clean after any food preparation but if you sit at our bar with your computer, you need to clean it after you finish. If you sit at our bar just talking, you need to clean the counter afterwards. I understand the idea of natural oils from your hand showing fingerprints, but this is ridiculous. Our countertops look fabulous right after we clean them and within an hour or two, they need to be cleaned again. If we knew then, what we know now, we would never have purchased ColorQuartz.
