Dighton-Rehoboth Animal Hospital

I'm not to sure how I feel yet about this place. I've had mixed experiences over the years with different dogs & different veterinarians. This was our 1st visit with this particular vet & it was the 1st actually annual exam my dog has had in 2 years & I felt like all they did was come in & stick a few needles in him & put something in his nose & that was it! I didn't notice any physical exam like looking in his teeth, eyes, ears, feeling his body even & I had to repeatedly ask for some services to get done. I also had to call them back myself to get back blood & fecal test results. I feel like I paid twice as much (at least !) as I have in the past for less care. Well there wasn't any care shown I'm sad to say. I could've just gone to a local big box pet store if I just wanted vaccines & tests done & paid significantly less but I really wanted the physical exam & for the amount of money I paid I don't feel like anything was done compared to other offices I've been to they would take the time to ask me questions especially since this was the 1st time that vet ever saw my dog but that wasn't done either. Overall I didn't leave there feeling like it was the family friendly place like I had thought or experienced at other veterinarians in the area. I still don't feel any better than when I just took him to the big box store for everything 1 year because I got the same from them for way less money & they don't do the physical exam either. Now I'm going to have to pay more money going to other vets around just to pay for the physical exam & try to meet each vet until I can find 1 that will take the time to actually do what I feel should be included in that exam & hopefully everything is alright with my dog until I do find the caring vet I've been searching for! Maybe I should've just scheduled with a different doctor that's the only other thing I'm questioning before giving up again with this place like I had to just over 10 years ago.

We have several animals and have gone to a number of different veterinarians. Far and Away the best place we have ever been to. They don't nickel and dime you and their expertise is phenomenal. It doesn't make any difference which of the four doctors that you see they are all terrific in very up to date on all of the treatment options. I can't say enough about them. I had very bad experiences prior to going there and it is a pleasure dealing with them.
