Szot Park

There is so much to love about this Park, but the maintenance of it is mediocre. Pool might not be open in the summer. Cops may hassle you for eating lunch in your car while you watch the geese in the lot facing the geese pond. They have a beautiful color changing fountain I loved to visit as a kid, which they turn off. So we can never see the changing lights anymore if we cut through or take a walk down the street at dusk. The road is not closed at dusk. It's a street. It's a nice feature, but Chicopee doesn't seem to care about nice features or keeping things looking nice at all. The town gets more and more run down looking. Look to who you keep electing to city officials if you're wondering why.

A nice small park. Won't be going back as I'm no longer in the area....
