I purchase a vehicle on 12/20 and George the owner assured me to have vehicle in shop and give me a status by Thursday to begin car registration. I called thursday and no one after 5 calls would answer it would be forwarded to voicemail. I receieved a call asking if i was interested in purchasing a vehicle from them and informed the lady that already have and that i only wanted George to give me information on status and for my registration information which he never asked me for. So the lady informed me that they she would relay information to him and have him call me. Friday 12/22 I tried calling and it would go to voicemail, then i continued on calling from 2pm until 630pm. around 430 pm another lady called me from Empire asking me if i wanted to purchase vehicle i informed them of situation again and again was told that George would call me before close of Business that in their website says 700pm. I kept calling and calling and George finally answered and i asked hi i would like to know status of vehicle. he immediately got fustrated and said it was at the shop. I asked when would it be ready and he said that he doesnt know that its after hours, but his business closes at 7pm it was 630pm and whole day he wasnt answering his phone. I inofrmed that i need info to let my bank know and he said give me check first and i told him i cant until i know that vehicle has been reapired he immediately began swearing and saying if i want vehicle or not and yelling. I told him im not yelling or swearing and he said that i dont care that if i want car or not. He claimed that in order for the transaction to continue that i should pay first then everything can go as planned. Im not going to pay until i know i have a Safety Inspected Car I said no and he said to expect refund in 15 days. He then sends me a text saying " I just looked at my records your deposit is non-refundable so you're stuck with the car and I'm stuck with you as a customer" Honestly i dont want car and i dont wanna deal with someone like this that insults me and yells at me espcially that i just came back from Active Duty ive gone through so much while i was gone and to have to succumb to this type of msitreatment when all i need is information to continue with my loan process is unacceptable. I ask for an apology and my refund of my money that i recieved putting my life at risk away from my loved ones for the protection of this nation and the people in it. I dont think i should be treeated like this. If you go to Google reviews on this business this is not the first time. Its happened more than 100 times. I want this time to be the difference and make in impact to stop running business like this. I ask the BBB to stand by hard workers/customers and stop trhis mistreatment from him.
