I used to heartily and frequently recommended Young's as the best lobster roll deal in town - for 2 reasons. They always had the best price and their lobster rolls were full of meat, with just enough mayo to hold it together.
Well, I just came by for my first roll of the season. They are up to $12 now and have way to much mayo. I'm not particularly fond of mayo; I don't want to taste mayo- I want to taste lobster. This is just ok now, just like everyone else's. There are several places around still where you can get a decent lobster roll for $10. (I'm not talking about sit-down restaurants; that's another story.) If you like a lobster roll with lots of mayo, you'll be happy here, but I'm sad to abandon Young's as my lobster roll go-to spot.
