This restaurant has a great bar and fireplace. The house has historic appeal. The food is excellent; a genuine gastropub. They offer live music and trivia on certain days. They have invested heavily in renovations over the past few years.
So, why only 1 star?
The newer staff, particularly the hosts, have been increasingly rude as the restaurant has grown in popularity. We will change the rating if they hire staff that provide better service.
Also, don’t bother coming if you don’t make a reservation.
