Red Wing

Red Wing makes a great product. A store like this should be a great place to showcase and provide that product. Unfortunately this one doesn't have much in stock, they use a very slow shipping service with no tracking, and the manager is very unfriendly. They'll also charge you ten dollars to exchange the boots you couldn't try on because they didn't have them in stock for other boots they don't have in stock. The big draw here is that they offer free cleaning/conditioning every six months for the life of your boots. This is quite attractive, but you have to weigh it against the quick shipping services and free exchange policies of online vendors. There's also a good chance you'll have to deal with the unfriendly manager when you go to get them cleaned, which won't be fun. Then again, I've still spent $700 in the place in the last couple months, so there is some appeal that is hard to avoid.
