Told the woman cutting my hair that I have been growing it out for six months and to PLEASE not take off too much length, just blend the back a little... Some water sprays (often directly onto my face), eye pokes
from the comb, and snipping later (thought it was just some end trimming!!!) she asks me to run my hands through and see "how it feels"; well, it felt... wet, and healthy, admittedly. Even when I had the sides and back of my head shaved, however, I NEVER had a 5 minute haircut. She put no thought into what she was doing and of course!! I get home and my lightly curly hair starts to dry and INCHES are gone off my hair. The front pieces, which before we're down to my lips when pulled in front of my face-- now short little bangs!!! Barely covering my eyes!! And the back blended poorly!! Lots of blunt edges. MONTHS OF HAIR GROWTH GONE IN FIVE MINUTES!!!!
Also, not to be rude, but your hairdressers should probably have healthy, properly styled and colored hair. And not work while sick, or at least not suck snot back into their head while hovering by a clients ear.
A haircut so bad I might just quit my hair growth and shave it all off again!!!!
