My favorite local ice cream shop ever. Their ice cream is AMAZING!!! I'm not sure how they do it, but almost every flavor I've tried here surpasses all the others everywhere else. They also have a unique variety of flavors, many of which you don't find at a typical ice cream store. I don't even want to reveal what my favorite ice cream flavor is here because I don't want people to find out how delicious it is at the risk of it running out next time I go. It's THAT good.
Another thing I love about Polar Cave is the decor. The whole shop is embellished with coke bottles, polar bears, and other neat little trinkets. As soon as you walk in, you are hit with the wonderful aroma of waffle cones. They also have games to play while you wait! And you WILL wait. The lines are almost always out the door, which brings this down to 4 stars. No fault of the business itself, but it can still take a really, really long time to get your ice cream because this place is so popular.
