Olympia Moving & Storage

We recently used Olympia Moving & Storage for our home renovation project. We needed them to help pack fragile items and move out all the items in our home, store them for a 6 month period in their Watertown storage facility, and then move everything back in when the renovation was complete. Every aspect of our experience with Olympia was positive. Our initial sales representative, Eddie, took time to understand our needs, provide an inventory items in our home, and offer suggestions for how to minimize cost by sharing what we would pack and what they would back (we opted for their packing only fragile items). We found the quote to be reasonable (less than one excellent competitor), although we were looking for quality, not necessarily the lowest price; in addition, the actual charges for the move and storage ultimately were less than the quote, which was a pleasant surprise. Everyone we interacted at Olympia was as pleasant and professional as the initial representative. They assigned us a move coordinator, Patrick, who was the person we interacted in planning the details of the move (setting dates, filling out forms, etc.); being assigned one person (over a 6 month period) gave continuity and a personalized touch to the whole process. In addition, our two moving crews were simply outstanding in every respect: prompt, courteous and professional, hard and fast working (which was very much appreciated as we paid by the hour), and skilled at what they did. I am happy to report that absolutely nothing was damaged in the whole process! When moving back in to our newly painted house with newly refinished floors, they carefully protected everything, so that no aspect of the house was damaged either. This is a wonderful company with employees who take pride in their work. Based on my experience, I would enthusiastically recommend them to others.
