Had my first truly smooth, low keyed do "what they say they will" experience buying a car here at Milford Nissan. I was going thought the USAA True Car website looking for my "new to me" car. When I saw one I was interest in I inquired about it's availability. I was contacted almost immediately by their Internet sales department to setup a test drive at my convince. I actually went the same day after work. Walked in was introduced to Jim Farrell who has has a wealth of knowledge but is totally low keyed in his approach. We sat down and talked numbers after the test drive. He told me exactly what they where going to do mechanically with new tires brakes and rotor all the way around the Vehicle. Once I agreed to purchase the car he ask if he could try and find me a better loan rate to which I agreed. By the next day Jim have confirmed that they could beat the rate I was originally getting by 3/4 of a %. Went and filed out the final paperwork in the Finance office (again no high pressure sales) on all the "extras" most dealerships throw at you. Bottom line is I have never spent so little time at a dealership to get so much out of my buying experience !!!
I've bought cars for myself and my children with Jim Farrell for decades dating back to when he had his own dealership. I was so happy to learn he stayed in the game, and in fact bought my current Nissan from him in about 2 hours one Saturday before going on a vacation - WITH THE CAR. He takes a consultative approach when selling a car....explaining the pros and cons and making sure the financials will work. I consider him a trusted advisor in a sea of car salespeople.
