I recently found out about Jim's while looks for a local shop that does motorcycle inspections. Lucky for me, Jim's is a 5 minute ride from my house. The guy at the counter was friendly, and informed me that the sticker he was going to give me would expire before riding season, but I needed it anyways because of a storage facility. It was very refreshing that he was nice enough to not want me to pay for something that wasn't necessary. I thanked him, and went along with the inspection. 5-10 minutes and I was on my way.
There was a few chairs in the waiting area, as well as a bunch of magazines and a tv. I'd say the waiting area was about average for a shop, but I'd give them the extra credit for being friendly. There isn't enough of that going around these days.
