I walked in ready to book a room for me and my friend, who are visiting from Boston, for Sunday until Tuesday. The woman working the front desk, Judy, saw that we had a friend in the car and asked if she would be staying as well. Our friend, a local, was not going to be staying with us but just helped us find the motel. We explained this to Judy who decided that we were apparently untrustworthy and were going to try to sneak in other guests and refused to rent the room to us. She had no basis to make this assumption, as my friend and I who wanted the room are 30 and 25 year old gainfully employed adults who would have simply payed for a third guest if we had one. I explained that this was absurd and that she had no reason to make this assumption so I asked her if she treats all guests this way which she insisted she did. Obviously she does not as they would be refusing the rent rooms to anyone. My friend and our local friend are of ethnic decent and based upon her unjustified accusations with no basis for the argument I am sure that we were refused a room based on the racial views of this 70 year old desk clerk. I will NEVER give this place any further business and discourage anyone who is not racist to avoid this location as well. Judy's outlandish behavior and accusations should see her terminated from the position. The motel definitely owes me, and my friends an apology for the unacceptable behavior of their staff.

Clean room, jetted tub was dirty in the tubes could use bleaching. Coffee & tea was nice in the morning, but a continental would be nice for the price. Pool was fantastic
