Hearing Care Center

Don't know Hearing Care Center all that well. We're new to the area - got a mailing insert for Hearing Care Center (lesson learned is watch out for mailing inserts, they must do this for a reason; meaning they can't get patients from normal referrals). Called for ear wax issue and was referred to ENT Specialists by Hearing Care Center. Worst advice ever! Dr. Shu from ENT spent 3 minutes with me and charged $260 - so about $5200 per hour - major OUCH! When I called ENT to ask why I was not told of the upcoming fee, I was told "everyone knows they pay for an office visit" yet at no time was I told of such a highway robbery-type fee. Shame on Hearing Care Center for referring us to ENT. I hold them partically to blame for me getting ripped off. Hopefully they will learn from this major mistake. BTW - my mother-in-law needs hearing aids and there is no way she will go to Hearing Care Center after their referral nightmare!
