Gold's Gym

Terrible experience dealing with the gym. My girls friend and I signed up under the understanding that we would be on a month to month membership, due to the fact that we would not be living in the area in 4-6 months. Well it turns out they entered it in as a 12 month mombership anyway! Even after calling over a dozen times, leaving my name and phone number to be called back AND being told by management that it was all set and both memberships would be cancelled immediately, nothing has happened and I was charged AGAIN today. On top of all that, because they supposedly couldn't charge my credit card, which they did, I got hit with an 80 dollar club charge. Even though I was told they were refunding it, 2 months later still no refund! Called again today and got the same "we'll call you back" response I've gotten every time. Awful customer service and apparently just taking people's money is what they're all about at Golds.
