Gervais Plumbing Heating & AC

I post this rage because I get no answer from thier office and basically told to screw off. I will never call these guys again. I do property maintenance and had a appointment set to install a new water heater. I waited all day at the property with no show or call. Appointment was set for 10 am they didn't show until 4 pm. I had to call a few times to even get a response on when they were coming and still was hours after the new time they said the plumber would be there. That mite be fine for a home owner to wait all day for someone to show but I'm a contractor and have other places to go to also. I had to cancel my schedule to wait for these guys. The price in the end was way more then ever where else and I had them come and estimate first rather then go with the price over phone that was hundreds cheaper. When I asked if they could do better on the price after they where done that took way less time and materials I got no answer at all. I was there to help had staging to use for them since it was up in a mechanical room in the unit. It literally could not have been more easy to change. They charged $800 for labor for 2 guys for hour. How can you sleep at night charging $400 a hour for a guy? I know plumber are one of the more expensive trades to hire but that ridiculously high. The price on the water heater is fine that's a given but the $125 they charged for 2 - 3/4 copper slip couplings is a big mark up... I ended up having to have them come back and set the temperature better because the tenant was complaining. Again you think they would show on time this time after telling them I don't live that close to the building this my job I'm here by the hour for the landlord... Nope late again by hours with the same no calling about going to be late. I would never be able to run my business like this. I don't care if they have 24 call service go somewhere else. Pretty much every plumber I have hired over the 15 plus years I have done contacting does. I knew it was a mistake not going with my usual plumber as he was up to his ears in emergency calls but I had no choice. I was trying to get the tenant hot water as soon as I could. I have easily 30 more water heaters to change in this condo building as they are all the same age. I would never give these crooks another dime even if they are the only ones available. The over inflated price doesn't help but I'm more irked about the lack of professional courtesy with giving a simple phone call to say they will be late.
