Went to their Oktoberfest and found it to be a small limited affair. The club building itself lookef very nice from outside, we never went inside. One of the things that really bothered me was their "VIP area". It was a deck high above looking out at the festival. It just seemed to be a way for "special folk" to demonstrate who they are and their higher importance above the little people below. It kind of made my skin crawl a bit.
In any case, it made the decision easy to not join the club. There are other clubs and hopefully less snobby ones where we can speak with others in the German language.
