I arrived at approximately 1pm on tue. afternoon and although there was plenty of staff some looked right at us no one acknowledged us the restaurant never exceeded half full the whole time we were there. Eventually we were seated, the food we ordered came quickly and was cooked well. Everything tasted fine, we ordered a couple.of friend-z ice cream cups to go. The ice cream was unimpressive, the cups weren't even full, for almost $5 a cup you'd figure they'd at least top it off or put whipped cream on it or something. When I paid lets say sticker shock is an understatement! For service that was cold and distant food that was good but unimpressive and ice cream that was disappointing to say the least for 2 adults a kids meal an appetizer and a couple ice creams it was $60 not including the tip! Friendlys is no longer the affordable family friendly place I remember. If you want a affordable place to grab a quick bite try Denny's a little further down the road. Next time I'm going to the 99 next door I may even pay a little less and I can have a beer too.
