Floral Elegance

I am extremely disappointed in the owner of this business. I used Teleflora (never again) to order my friend a Christmas/house warming gift. I wanted a plant, something that would last. I researched animal friendly plants as she has two cats and two dogs. I decided on a money tree to bring good luck and I loved the thought of that as my gift. My friend received a sub par "holiday arrangement" of pine cones and carnations with a note stating that the sender (myself) approved the change. When I called to inquire, I spoke with a Chris who tried to be very helpful. She got to the bottom of the mystery and informed me that Teleflora told them that I approved the change (I am in the process of contacting them as well). But when I expressed my disappointment in the quality of the arrangement, she tried to explain and told me that if I was disappointed in the item itself, then that was their responsibility to address. The owner took the phone from her and basically tried to sell me on the fact that "carnations are expensive, there where pine cones in the arrangement as well" blah blah blah. Not once did she try to correct the situation or even offer to send my friend a plant, at least, as I wanted something that would last. I am sorry but as a former small business woman I have always put the customer first. I would not recommend this florist - the product was sub par and the costumer service terrible. UPDATED THIS REVIEW! Thank you Beverly for taking the time to correct the situation. My friend sent me a picture of the money tree that she received last week. I appreciate the customer service and will use Floral Elegance in the future.
