For such a little place FFF has a good selection! More selection that consignment stores yet cheaper than dress stores. I bought my junior prom dress there and am in love with it- it's perfect! One great thing is that since the selection isn't "in season," its almost guaranteed that no one will have the same dress as you. Mine is very unique. No one's even wearing the same color- dark cranberry.
My friend scheduled one of their "after hours" parties, which is great because you have the store to yourself and everyone gets a discount. The owner was very friendly and welcoming- she knew my friend by name since she'd been there a couple of times and were very happy to see her. She even helped my friend pick out dresses for me and made some suggestions.
The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because some of the dresses were in less than favorable condition. You can rent a dress for a night instead of buying it which is great if you can't afford a dress but less great if you buy a dress that's been rented. The two dresses I narrowed my choices down to both looked obviously used. One had a jeweled/beaded bodice and some of the jewels and beads were loose or just barely hanging on by a thread. The other had mild deodorant stains on the crests of the bodice and two rips in the seams in the back like someone had bent over too far and ripped it.
I ended up buying the second one and had to have the seams resewn when I had it hemmed. I also had it dry cleaned to get rid of the deodorant, where they found some stains on the skirt I hadn't even noticed before. I'd estimate that I paid about $40 ($20 in dry cleaning, $20 in seam repair) for after-the-fact-care. Granted it was my choice to buy the dress, but I think they should implement some sort of policy that if you damaged the dress you rented, you should pay for the repairs/cleaning.
I bought my dress for $125 with the host discount (my friend made me the host instead since I planned on buying a dress and she had already bought one) and with repairs (hemming, seam repair, dry cleaning) the total came to approximately $200.
Overall, I would highly recommend! Don't let the damage to the dresses deter you from going, all the damage I saw was very fixable if you bring it to the right tailor. Such a cute little shop!
