They will say literally whatever they need to in order for you to sign an agreement with them. They will lie, so make sure to go over your agreement extremely well. Go over the numbers and question every single thing that doesn't make sense. Seems silly, but I had them lie to me 3 times about 1100 dollars on my final agreement. Poor business ethics. Then when I asked if I could come back later with my husband so he could talk to them, they told me the offer they made was so good that his boss would "bust his balls" if I left. I should have found a new dealership years ago.
I am very pleased with how well everything went when I decided I wanted a new car. We arrived on a Saturday morning to test drive a used Kia Sorento with low miles. I really liked the way it handled. Unfortunately the numbers didn't work for us. So I asked about leasing a brand new 2018 loaded. Less money down, and the payments were where we needed them to be. Love, Love, Love it. The whole Kia sales team were great also. They really worked together and made it happen. I would recommend Kia of Dartmouth to anyone looking for a newer vehicle.
