My review is two fold: first my initial experience was not a good one, but having the actual appointment was good.. My initial experience was not a good one. I had made an appointment for a physical about a month in advance and was called a couple of days prior because they had to reschedule. My main form of transportation is bicycle so to have a later appointment meant I would be late to work and make less money to pay for the appointment. I see to others this may not be an issue, but for me it is as it takes about 45 minutes to bike to work after leaving the Doctors office. I had tried calling SEVERAL times to the office which was ALWAYS busy for DAYS. I finally emailed someone asking for help, she responded, but then didn't follow up. When I finally got a hold of someone asking why my appointment was changed after I scheduled it a month in advance the excuse I was given was "I don't know, these women have families". Good for them! I felt like saying. So I wrote a long email to their admin team stating that this is unacceptable, and how horrible my experience had been. The person literally wrote back stating I should change practitioners (I am a new patient). This was extremely disturbing as I had literally done nothing wrong and was just looking for answers as to why I was being treated like garbage. So, I called the other Doctors office in the same building and the receptionist was extremely pleasant and helpful. She listened to my concerns regarding commuting by way of bike, etc. and strongly urged me to keep the -now moved- appointment as the nurse practitioner was very nice and would take care of me. I thought this made good sense and kept the appointment. I made it to the appointment and the receptionist was very nice and helpful. She had me call my health insurance because I needed to have the new doctor name listed on my insurance. So, I called and everything was good. I saw the NP (sorry I can't remember her name) and she was very very nice, very personable, competent, and helpful. The nurse who did my BP and the office manager were also very nice. Overall, my experience was a good one. However, here are my concerns: Phone system - terrible, no real back up and no access to email. Really slow and phone is busy often. Was not informed in advance that my physical wasn't really a physical. So I missed about two hours of work to come back for ANOTHER appointment for the 'real physical' because I am a new patient. Would have liked to have known this ahead of time. Rescheduling last minute on an appointment made a month in advance with a NEW patient. Honestly there is zero excuse for this. Absolutely zero.
She is very nice however I had a bad experience with her staff. They were hard to reach and refused to admit that the doctor could have done something wrong.
