I have driven by the Breakfast Nook countless times so decided to go in. It was a Sunday morning so rather busy. After a bit of a wait, the 'hostess' pointed towards a table and told us, 'You can sit over there.' The Nook is aptly named as it is rather small but that just lends to the coziness of a spot. The server brought us over coffees and hands down, the worse coffee I've ever had. It tasted like 95% water and 5% actual coffee. I ordered scrambled eggs, which came with toast and home fries as well as a waffle. The eggs were cooked fine and the home fries weren't overly greasy. A positive note was that the amount of home fries was just right. The waffle was disappointing--it tasted like a frozen store bought waffle. My friends' meals were fine. Surprisingly enough, the bathroom is through the kitchen. I'm reducing the review points because the coffee was so bad. I don't think this it was a one off, I think their coffee must always be bad.
