I recently stayed here and was by no means impressed with the overall quality of the hotel. Loews in Boston or even the W has much nicer, updated rooms. The bar area and lobby were very nice, but there are countless other hotels in Boston that are not only significantly less expensive, but are much nicer (thinking of the Langham right now). I would give more stars if they didn't charge me $50 for parking when I didn't have a car? And another $30 for taking food from the honor bar that I never had. This has never happened to me at any hotel, but for it to happen at the Ritz? Absolutely unacceptable.
