Barrel House American Bar

Cabot Street in Beverly, in my opinion, is one of the most underrated restaurant venues to explore in the North Shore. With that said, one needs to experience Barrel House American Bar to understand why. The atmosphere is lovely with a touch of history dating to the prohibition era. The speak easy feel adds to the comfort and quality service that is provided. Servers are kind and have wonderful recommendations if you are unable to choose from the variety of foods and beverages offered on the menu. The best of the best though are the chefs and the bartenders. These guys can cook and can make a good drink. Do not be afraid to be adventurous in your food choices and try not to get "the usual" here for each item is worth trying at least once. Your drinks will be artfully crafted with great patience and one to be remembered. The bartenders are knowledgable in their liquors and spirits and have great recommendations as to what drink should go with your meal. All in all if you wish to have a great date night or get a drink with a friend or have a giant outing to share a good time then visit Barrel House. You will not be disappointed.

Food was ok. Not a great selection. They were out of certain items. The ambiance was nice and service was good.
