If you don't have a high end Porsche/Benz/BMW Mark and his team will scam you, do sub-par work, rack up a couple thousand dollar bill, and probably break something in the process so you have to go back and get charged all over again. I began going to Mark to work on my 2003 BMW 330xi because my father would bring his 911 turbo to have it worked on. He treated my father great, figured he'd do the same for me. WRONG. My ebrake wasn't holding so I brought it to him 3 separate times. Every time he just took the boot off the ebrake and tightened the bolts for a temporary, 2-3 day fix. I was obviously charged each time. On the 4th time it didn't hold, he FINALLY took apart the ebrake and said the pad just crumbled, and then charged me yet again to replace it, luckily for him it finally held (should have done that the first time). One of the times I went to pick up my car I went in to pay for the repair and noticed the cover under the engine was hanging off, I made mention of it to Mark and his mechanic Pete who has a terrible attitude, was usually the one working on my car, and the guy I can attribute to the crappy work. I stood there while they sat on their asses chatting as if I didn't exist. I finally got fed up with it, went home and screwed the cover on myself, figure if you want something done right do it yourself, don't wait for someone like Pete to finally get off his ass to do what he's paid to do. After that incident I never went back to Autosport Engineering and will never bring my new BMW there.
I hope this review shines some new light onto how Mark and Autosport Engineering treats his customers who don't have the best of the best Porsche/Mercedes/BMW's. You will be much better off bringing your car to a dealership, at least if they treat you poorly you can go over their head to their manager and most likely get the problem fixed, not much will come from complaining to Mark who owns his own company.
As a result of how poorly I have been treated, my father will never bring any of his cars to be worked on by Mark and his team, for the 10's of thousands of dollars our family has paid him we should have been treated much better.
