The office is beautiful. The Dentist and backroom staff were amazing. I have terrible anxiety and they did everything they could to make me comfortable for the extractions I needed. My problems started 4 days after surgery when I received a bill for the full amount of surgery. I called to try and talk this out but the office manager Dawn, refused to understand what I was explaining and wanted to insist what I was remembering I was told about billing prior to surgery and the day of surgery was some how wrong. I was told I would be have an amount to pay the day of surgery, that my insurance would be billed and that if there were additional fees after insurance was paid I would receive a bill. On the day of surgery my mother took me in and she paid for me. She was told we were being charged a certain amount. I received the receipt days later and that amount is double what we were told. Mistakes can happen, but things got worse when trying to explain this to the office. Dawn continued to remind me how much of my benefits had already been used this year. I wondered at one point was I being judged for the dental work I required? I continued to try to get her to understand the issue is we were told we were being charged one amount and would be billed for the difference later, and this is not what happened. Even if nothing could be done at this point Dawn refused to believe what I had to say or try to be understanding. she insisted I just misunderstood prior to surgery and so did my mother. Before this incident I would have referred others to your business. but not now. While by the end of the call I was very angry, I was never heard, I was talked over and made to feel I should be ashamed of the amount of work I required this year and only have a small amount left on my benefits. This is not how you treat customers. The shame of it all is everything else about my experience really helped with the anxiety I have, but being made to feel the way I was by the office manager is not acceptable.
