Not sure what the rest of these reviews are all about, but I had the complete opposite experience from what was described below. I showed up on a weekend (without calling ahead), and was greeted by Lou as soon as I pulled up. Very nice guy, knowledgeable about what he's selling, and pretty laid-back about the process. Took a nice solo test drive - they're right next to the highway, which is great - came back, agreed on a price, trade-in value and partial financing on the spot. No hard-sell, no attitude whatsoever. Took all of 40 minutes from arrival to agreeing on a deal. They gave me a very fair value for trade and negotiated down off the asking price to a point where I felt it was a fair deal for both parties.
That was on a Saturday morning, mind you, and I still needed to partially finance. Kim, their finance person, got me a good rate at a reputable national bank by that afternoon and we agreed on terms by phone. Followed up with paperwork the following Monday, took delivery Tuesday. They made one small cosmetic repair to the car without my even asking them to do so. Also, I'm from out of state, and they even took care of the state VIN inspection and registration for me, which is a HUGE plus if you've every dealt with the RI DMV.
Like I said, can't speak for some of the other reviewers here, but I had a great experience with Ally and would definitely recommend Lou and Kim to friends looking for a lightly used luxury vehicle or truck.
