29 Sudbury has gone through several iterations since opening. It's initial run was rather abysmal, but since then the restaurant has steadily improved and is now a place I'll willing eat. Servings are large and the menu has decent variety. The problem is with the menu items is they try to do too much: if the number of ingredients/toppings were reduced by 25%, you'd have a cleaner tasting product. Nevertheless, the food ends up being reasonably good. You don't need to worry about getting a table, which is nice.
Dined here last Saturday evening. Appetizers were great. Drinks were great. Entrées were average and a. bit overpriced for their quality. Service was suboptimal. Sat for almost 15 minutes before someone even approach the table to offer water and to get our drink order. Meals took a long time on a night that was not very busy.
